A.J. Banner made everyone talk about her work through her debut novel, ‘The Good Neighbor’. An Indian by birth, A.J. Banner grew up in North America and acquired her degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Being a voracious reader from childhood, Banner was very much interested in reading thriller novels from her parent’s library.

After completing graduation, A.J. Banner did various jobs before settling in as an author. Banner was very much interested in writing that she wrote her first thriller, ‘Mystery at Crane Corner’ at the age of 11 and did her own cover art also.

Banner’s debut novel, ‘The Good Neighbor’ which was a psychological thriller became listed as the #1 Kindle best-seller for 34 days and the book remained in the top 50 list of the kindle store for over 145 days. The book received so many good reviews that it was named by Harper’s Bazaar as a book that could be the next GONE GIRL.

Banner has packed her novel with so much suspense that the readers lose their cool in knowing the next scene. As A.J. Banner was a nature lover, the state of Washington and its beauty was narrated in an awesome way in her novel. Banner is an ardent fan of Agatha Christie, Daphne du Maurier and Alfred Hitchcock.

A.J. Banner currently resides in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and five rescued cats. She loves to write early in the morning before her cats woke up.
