Ann B Ross

Ann B Ross is a well-known American author. She received huge recognition for her novel, ‘Miss Julia’, which has developed into seven series until now. ‘Miss Julia Speaks Her Mind’, ‘Miss Julia Takes Over’, Miss Julia Throws a Wedding’ and ‘Miss Julia Hits the Road’ are few among them. The seventh novel in the series was published in Apr 2015. The character Julia in Ann’s novel is a bold woman who is admired by everyone.

Initially Ann taught literature at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Due to her great passion in writing, Ann attended writing classes to get more knowledge about writing techniques and conventions.

From a very young age, Ann was fond of reading and writing. Author Geoffrey Chaucer is one of her favourite author. Ann also reads some author’s novels for pleasure. Few of them are John Sandford, Robert Crais, T. Jefferson Parker, D.W. Buffa, Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch novels and Laurence Block’s Matthew Scudder books since she loves cop and detective novels.

Ann always has an outline of how the story would go except for her first book. She prefers to write in the mornings since she feels her mind will be fresh and so there will be a nice flow in writing. Ann spends 3 to 4 hours every day and almost seven days a week when working on a novel.

Similar to her writing, Ann B Ross has a beautiful family with three children and 5 grandchildren and she lives in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
