Barbara Freethy: Biography
Barbara Freethy is a number 1 New York Times bestselling author of more than 30 books. She has also won a RITA award for her novel Daniels Gift. She started writing while she was pregnant, with support of her mother whom had flirted with writing novels and short stories herself. Together they traveled to writers conferences and learned the craft during the first years of Barbara’s career as a writer.
Barbara Freethy was born September 25th and grew up in an environment with mostly elder boys who ditched her a lot. And because of that she spent a lot of time reading and making up stories. After college Barbara worked several years with PR. Barbara Freethy has two children that are grown up now.
