Christine Feehan: Biography
Christine Feehan is an American author best known for her paranormal romance books and stories. She has been writing every day ever since she can remember and used to get herself into trouble at school for writing stories at the back of the classroom instead of doing her work. She grew up in a large family in California, with three brothers and 10 sisters for company.
Feehan is a very prolific writer, having published more than forty different books. She has achieved the number 1 spot on the list of New York Times bestselling titles for each of her 5 romance series and her novels have been acclaimed by prize givers and fans alike since her first book was published. Her debut novel, Dark Prince, was awarded 3 different Paranormal Excellence Awards in Romantic Literature (PEARL) when it was released in 1999. There were only 9 prizes on offer in total that year. She has since gone on to win more PEARL awards for her later novels as well.
Christine Feehan is still writing novels to add to her ever-growing list of published works. As well as being an accomplished and celebrated author, Christine Feehan also holds a third degree black belt in Korean Style Martial Arts as well as different grades in other martial arts disciplines. She lives with her husband, Richard Feehan, and now has her own large family with 11 children. Her daughters are now grown up and help her by proofreading the manuscripts of new novels.
