Jana DeLeon: Biography

Jana DeLeon

Hailing from a place which may not be even located on a map, Jana DeLeon grew up to be a New York Times and USA Today best-selling author with her writing talent. Jana owes the credit to her childhood days and the place where she grew up.

Jana’s hometown is Carlyss and was raised in Southwest Louisiana amidst bayous and gators. She has profound love towards this place. There was a camp located on a bayou just off the Gulf of Mexico which their family owned; the only way to get to that camp is by a boat. Jana fondly remembers spending enormous time there reading books and having a fantastic time with her brother.

Since their home was so close to the sea, Jana and her family enjoyed having seafood atleast three to five times a week. Jana initially got into corporate world and was a CFO but eventually she dropped it to pursue her career in writing. Jana’s love for Louisiana is beyond imagination that she never misses to keep the settings of this place in all her books.

Some of Jana’s beautiful works include Louisiana Longshot, Lethal Bayou Beauty, Swamp Sniper, Gator Bait, Soldiers of Fortune, Hurricane Force, Fortune Hunter, the Ghost-in-Law series, Unlucky and Rumble on You Bayou.
