Jennifer Ashley: Biography
Jennifer Ashley is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of historical, paranormal and contemporary romance novels. She also writes mysteries and urban fantasy under the pen names of Ashley Gardner and Allyson James.
In total, Ashley has written over 80 different novels and novellas. She has been awarded the RWA’s RITA award on several occasions, the Golden Quill, the Prism award and an RT Reviewer’s Choice award for her works. Her stories have been translated into over a dozen different languages and are available in more than 20 countries worldwide.
Jennifer Ashley is probably best known for her Shifters Unbound series of paranormal romance novels. The first book in the series, Pride Mates, follows the story of a Shifter accused of murder, a human lawyer bound to defend him and the Shifter she calls on for help and advice. The rest of the series relay the stories of different shifters and their sexual relationships with humans and other creatures. Shifters Unbound is only one of the six series of paranormal fantasy books published under the name of Jennifer Ashley. Others include The Mackenzies/McBrides series, The Immortals series, Riding Hard and the Nvengaria Series. Romance is at the heart of all of Jennifer Ashley’s novels even though the setting and genre of the romances might vary.
When she’s not writing, Ashley can most likely be found cooking, hiking or playing the guitar. She also has an extensive collection of miniature rooms and dollhouses which she builds herself.
