Petra is a renowned German author whose novels have sold more than 2.5 million copies in Germany alone. She is the author of 14 historical novels. Although Petra is a German author, she has a huge fan following in America and she is one among the top 100 authors in U.S.

Having graduated in agricultural science, Petra wished to become a translator initially. She worked as the editor of a dog magazine and started writing stories in her leisure time. Slowly her work got into shape and soon success followed.

Petra got huge fame through the novel, ‘The Glassblower Trilogy Series’. One of the initial novels of this series was published under the title, ‘The American Lady’. She is known mainly for her research work. Almost all her works portray women as strong characters and independent personalities.

Every book release of Petra is followed by her tour of readings. She loves her fans so much that she spends enough time to sign their books.

Born in a little village in Germany, Petra feels that her home and its surroundings are best suited for her to write. Petra lives a happy life with her husband and two dogs. Writing is the soul of Petra’s life and she has been writing for past twenty years.

Although writing is her passion, Petra also loves to cook, decorate her garden and going for long walks with her dogs.
