Susan Mallery

Susan Mallery is an American writer and is a prolific author of contemporary romance novels. She was raised in Southern California, moving house on a very regular basis. She has told interviewers that her family moved addresses so often that her friends would only note down her address in pencil, so that they could easily change it when she inevitably moved again.

Mallery’s first novel was published in 1991 and since then she has written over 80 works of romantic fiction for Harlequin and Silhouette, as well as several full-length and standalone novels. Many of her earlier works are published under the name of Susan Macias. Over the course of her career, Mallery has sold more than 25 million books across the world.

Mallery’s combined works have spent more than 200 weeks as USA Today bestsellers. The first f her novels to make it on to the New York Times bestseller list was the 2008 novel Accidentally Yours. She has since had several novels appear on the list and has also reached the coveted number one spot with her 2015 novel Thrill Me. This novel was the 20th in the series for which is probably best known; the Fool’s Gold romances.

Susan Mallery and her husband currently live in Seattle with their toy poodle and two cats. She is an animal lover and regularly supports the Seattle Humane Society. Her love of animals filters through to many of her books, as you can see characters enjoying the company and support of their furry friends.
